ac/ smog delete pulleys, any hp gains

winter just around the corner so i wont be needing my ac for 6 more months, so i was wondering would i gain any hp/torque if i put on the smog/ ac delete pulleys, i don't want just get rid of my ac/smog pump all together cause come june/july it's gonna be 100 degrees out side and 120 inside withought the ac, so can i plan on seeing anygains by doing this, maybe 5-10 RWHP hp??????????????? if so i'll do it for sure. thanks in advance

Probably not worth the effort of removing it. The niether of those eat up much power when the AC is not on. I think most people that do the AC delete do it for the weight savings. The two pulleys will cost you roughly $100-120 and then you will have to have your AC system recharged when summer comes, probably another $50-60. For $180, you could buy an exhaust or something that you can keep year round.

it doesnt get too cold here last night it was 50 and today it was 90..... i prefer to drive with the windows down anyhow. i might just remove the a/c all togeter than... right now the clutch is slipping while the ac is running while the motor is idling, and it starts smoking... i was hoping it might free up some ponies, but guess not, thanks for the replies
