Who would win this race?

I don't know what happened to this other post but it vanished. Pablo, u messin with my posts? Anyways, ok, its a race between this guy with a stock 305 TBI but he has a stick shift, low miles (50,000 i think) and 3:73 non-posi. I have all the things listed below and 104,000 miles (if mileage matters, I take very good care of the car.) We would race but its starting to snow and were putting our cars away. So what do u guys think? Just leave your thoughts. My mods are in my sig. Thanks.

I would say that you would definetly win this race. Your two's gearing isn't that different, and your car probaly has an extra 20-35 HP advantage, despite your higher mileage.

Also on the start your going to launch very well with your slightly taller gearing, posi, wider tires, and torque converter.
He is going to drop the clutch and spin his tires quite a bit with that short gearing, non posi rear, and I'm assuming 215 tires.

you should win this one handily as long as you get a decent start.

well guys the other bird in question is me. I have 245 50 ZR 16 inch formula wheels with a posi rear end. 91 bird remember u didnt see my car nor did u have the rear end work done on it so chill. I just replaced the clutch and had the fly wheel resurfased. The car has been extremely well maintained and i take care of it. It rarely sees RPM above 3 grand.

BTW ur mods only make up for the lost compression and hp in ur car.

First off, cut the anonymous posting crap. Use your real name next time you wanna express your opinion. Secondly, I dont take to kindly to these "who will win" posts and to be honest i think they are dumb
