Me and my friend just pulled some error codes from his 1988 Firebird. They ended up being codes 13 and 32, 13 is oxygen sensor circuit and 32 is EGR. He just replaced the O2 sensor so we know that is alright, it says his TPS might be sticking, I don't think it is though since it moves freely, and another option is the wiring? ANY advice is would be helpful. The other error code is for the EGR system. He just put on an open element air filter so could that have something to do with it? What should we check otherwise? Is his car being slowed by the computer going into limp-home mode?

 

Just because a part is new don't assume that isn't defective.

check all of the vacum lines and the solinoid by the egr valve that the vacum lines go to
