Has anyone uses the Edelbrock TBI manifold?

I am looking to upgrade my 305 TBI...I was wondering if anyone has used the Edelbrock TBI manifold, and if so, was it worth the money. Also, was there a noticable difference. Thanks, big tex

do a search of the archives here. i think you will find that you should just get a single plane carb manifold. parformer of torquer. or weiand stealth.

I have the edelbrock tbi manifold and have been pleased with the results. I put it on last spring, it took me about 5hr. of install time. The manifold retains all of the stock equitment, in the stock location which makes things easier. I paid 214.00 for it from summit racing. My 1/4mi. times droped .24 and I gained 3.2mph in the traps. So if it is worth it or not has to be up to you. Good Luck!

Tex,
Most people who dont like the Edelbrock TBI manifold just drop it on and expect to make like 50 hp from that. The real significant gain is noticed once you put better exhaust heads and cam on. sure, you will get some gain, but this manifold is much better than stock. Think about, if you put a good manifold on you are still going to have bad airflow through the heads and bad exhaust so your gain wont be much. I have also heard good things about single plain intakes, but like pete said, everything goes back where it belongs with the Edelbrock. I think it is a good amnifold.
