cross ram fuel injection???'s

I am looking for a unique FI setup for a Pro-Touring type 69 Camaro. What do you think of a cross ram, dual throttle body setup for a SBC?
Anyone seen one before? I would like to find someone that can help me create a setup like this for my project. I currently have a SR on a 406 SBC.

Thanks.

I think dual stock type TBIs on a Offenhauser intake would be cool. ask www.turbocity.com how to get 2 TBIs to work together. make sure you space them so that a the '69 Z28 air cleaner will fit on them. you can get the intake from www.pawengineparts.com

A dual TBI system wouldn't be all that hard to get setup. The hardest part would be the tuning. I know that the signal from the ECM is only strong enough to set off the pair of injectors. If you wired in another pair the ECM gets messed up. Turbocity should have some info and if they want too much money then ask the electronics board. Tim (the moderator) knows his stuff and I'm sure he could give you either an electornic schimatic or something to work with.
I love the idea of a dual TBI setup, EFI at it's cheapest and most powerful. It would be unique for sure. All you see how adays are the edelbrock and holley aftermarket setups, all MPFI which is great but expensive.

a holley EFI setup could be done for a kick a$$ price:
$255 intake
$50 carb to TBI spacer
$100 used TBI for a base or free if you use the stock one
$200 Ford SVO injectors
$100 TPI computer
$100 TPI fuel rails.
$75 AFPR
total
=$880($780 w/free stock TBI) not including chip
Thats half of the MPFI kit edelbrock and holley costs.

HOwell sells the Edelbrock kit for about that price and the same kit is less than 1 grand on Summit, minus the pump.

You will still need: Need new HP fuel pump, a regulator and wiring harness stuff, probably. and probably $200 more of misc stuff, as we all know is usually the case.

hey, try http://www.crossfire.homeip.net Those guys over there are building some Crossram setups with an Offenhauser manifold, Corvette 1bl TBI's and an 87-91 truck ecm. I am very interested in this setup (not too pricey) but i would like to use dual truck 2bbl TBI's and maybe a better ECU. Anycomments on what ECU can run an 8cyl and fire 4 injectors?
