Dont' waste your time, the 1.6's will inprove your lift and duration somewhat, but the stock cams duration stinks.
You will seek a much better benefit by buying a cam.I use Crane's compucam2031(438/452-208/214@.050).It runs about $260 but it will afford you with much better results.(Use 350 TRUCK INJECTORS for fuel problems). Please comment.

ya a cam will be better but rockers are easy and relatively cheap. I think we figured that those rockers would get about .370" of lift on a peanut cam. most people think the best cam for the money would be an L98, LT1, or LT4 (not hot LT4) cam. LT1 cam = around $50 used. LT4 cam = $130 new

that is a great attitude!
the 1.6's actually help out a lot, and for those who don't have the 250 beans for a cam plus all the other gaskets and stuff needed to install it,not to mention that rockers take about a tenth as long, the rockers are a great idea. they will ad a noticable amount of power especially if you do an intake at the same time. you will need to set the timing a little bit advanced from stock and raise the fuel pressure a little to compensate for the "bigger" cam you now have.
