do the swap this weekend. and need a little guidance
well im going to do a cam(LT1), heads(L30 Vortec), intake(super victor vortec), and TB(454 /w 65# inj). swap this weekend.
but im a little lost on the order in which i should do them. because i dont want to screw the dist. up when i put it back together.
cam.. heads... intake.... TB
or..
heads..intake.. cam..TB..

As long as you put the front drivers side piston at TDC it shouldn't matter if the heads or the cam go first.

He's right man, don't worry about the dist. Once you pull it out you'll see how eat it really is. There are instructions all over the net on how to do it. Some even with Pics. The guy who has "The Best Dam garage on the Net" has very good article on it. I agree with Brent. that is a very goo order. You will have to remove the accessory brackets though. They are a T-55 socket???(Can't recall from memory) It's defintely a torx bit though. Take lots of pics so that you remember how everything goes back to gether and don't gte frustrated.
