Cylinder Heads
Hi, I was wondering, i can get a set of LO3 heads for my T/A that are used and i was wondering if it would benifit me to have them milled down .025" and get the factory compression to come up a little? I was also thinking about getting them ported out too. Would this benefit me at all? I really want to keep the 305 TBI for now cause it is do low mile so that is why i dont just get a 350 for it yet. Please let me know. Thanks

You could get them milled down, problem is you can't find a head gasket that is a thin and has a small diameter like the stock one. Instead of spending big bucks on porting, do a diy job by following the numerous guides on this site and accross the internet. Nothing wrong with a 305.
