PLEASE HELP ME! with my throttle body...

hi i'm new to the site and this is my first post... i have a 90 camaro rs and i just performed an engine swap from a 305 to a 350... there is only one problem i can't get the engine to crank unless i pour some fuel into the throttle body then start it up the problem is after the engine shuts off the fuel injectors fire after it shuts off... not while its on... i've got everything connected and working fine except one wire. i can't figure out where it goes its a large main power wire with a large gauge in the terminal like it could fit to the battery or somethin but i know it doesn't go there... i can't figure out where it goes but if the case were that the wire were to go to the fuel injectors they wouldn't fire at all right? someone please help... thanks

If its black, then thats the main ground for the starter and block. Surprised it even turns over without it. It should go to the front of the pass. cylinder head. Make sure you clean the terminal and strip all paint off the contact area on the cylinder head prior to connecting it. The other large guage wire (red) goes to the starter, and provides power to the rest of teh electrical system.

yeah i got the starter hooked up fine.. its not black its a red wire... i've already got one that brings the power to my lights, accesories, etc. hooked up to the altenator... the wire that i'm talking about comes from the plug in the altenator... so i'm pretty sure its main power for something... the injectors will shoot after the engine shuts back off thus givin' me just enought gas to crank it back up and give it another try but the same thing just happens over and over again... i need to figure out where that wire goes... its a large red one... i already have one positive on the altenator and one on the starter... i don't know where this one goes... its a push button start so i dunno what the guy that owned it before me did to the wires cuz i got them runnin every which way now... at first when i tried to start it before it wasn't even spittin' any fuel outta the injectors at all not even after it cut off and i plugged a test light to the injection plugs and got nothing then later I plugged it up to the battery and tried the altenator and now its firing after it shuts off... i don't know what to do with this someone please help... maybe u can go outside and pop the hood to your camaro and see where that red wire leading from the plug that plugs into the altenator is going.... thanks for any help!
