Should i consider buying this?
Should i consider buying this?
Hey, my rs has 140k miles on it and while it is still running really really good, i'm not sure if i really wanna mod it up just yet...BUT i am considering getting an aftermarket hood to i can get more air into engine, blah blah. You guys think it would be worth investing money into a new hood or no. PLUS, i wouldnt be able to get it painted right away so i would wonder if it would look like crap sitting on a red car, if you know what i'm getting at. Just looking for an opinion, thanx. OH OH, and one more thing, i was just wondering if anyone could give me an estimate on how much hp i have, just look at my sig and see if you can give me a ball park figure. Thanx again

sure get the hood. if i were you i wouldnt until you could paint it, but hey, do whatever. if its a deal get it.
the thing about a hood for a mod, you can take it off and sell it again for a reasonable price. and put your old one back one.
you are obviously in a position where money isnt just rolling in, like many of us, if i were you i would wait, save and splurg, so that transformations of your car happen in sections instead of blips. that way , in my opinion, you feel like you have a new car say, once a year.
btw, 140k, and running good. feel free to mod, im sure within the next few years youll start to have a little more $ to spend on your car, and by the time this engine is ready for the heap, youll have the $ to get a 350.
