I just put in a Walbro FPG002 in my 93' Buick Roadmaster from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com, it says 85-92 GM universal and it went in rather easy with minor modifications, I had to trim some plastic off the bottom of the holder since the stock pumps inlet was offset and the Walbro was centered, and also had to trim some plastic off the hole in the lid of the holder for the larger connector to the Walbro. Also I had to splice in the provided wiring harness since the connector on the Walbro was larger than the stock. This was my first pump I've done and it was really easy I thought.

Also forgot to mention that I used this page as a reference as I worked on my pump http://www.dragtimes.com/forums/lofi...php?t3412.html , also while your at it you should install the Bradley fuel gauge corrector if you haven't already http://impalassforum.com/cgi-bin/ult...352;p=1#000004 its really a quality piece and took a whole 15 minutes to install and well worth it.
