do a bigger burn out next time, maybe the nitto's will be hot enough to hook we just need to do some shocks on it prolly, the ones you have are super beat.

Your 60' should be lower (prolly about 2.2). If you can get that down you'll see the times you want.

Something must be way off. I ran a 15.86 in mine with a 2.177 60'. I also ran a 16.04 that day. It has an open element and ultra flow muffler (not cat back) and that is it and 120,000 miles. It has an nice sound system with 3 amps also. I know have 2.73s b/c i only use 1st & 2nd in the quater.

Eric, you must have other mods to run a 2.1 60 foot. Before I did my suspention work I ran a 2.227 60 foot and 15.92 1/4 with performance ignition, Edelbrock TES headers, flowmaster cat-back, chip, and racing plugs. A stock RS auto is much slower than 15.8. BB305 you probably need a higher stall/more power braking to help lower your 60 foot, and a more powerfull engine combo to push through the quater (i.e. mph is a little slow).

a stock lo3 should be able to 60ft in the 2.25 range, a 2.22 is really good for stock. with the posi/gears and minimal power mods i think it should be in the 2.16-2.18 range. eliminating hte wheel spin would prolly pick blackbird up another .5mph or so since the car would be using hte whole track to accelerate.
the car is capable of a 15.5 or 15.4 right now, in hte summer heat. on a cold day prolly a 15.2.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the exhaust basically does nothing fun for you, unless its a complete exhaust from heads back. So new heads would be good I thinking...

if there is a part of the exaust that is a blockage of flow, and you remove it, it will help you. You get the most help the closer to the engine you are. I only replaced my muffler on my Jeep and it was a huge improvement and it was only $70 vs. $600 for header and catback.

My305camaro, that is all I have. I would run about a 2.3 in the heat of the summer. I have not ran it since then, too many miles to race every week. This is my time slip
