OH MY GOD!!! IT'S ALIVE!!!!
For those of you not keeping up with my previous posts, I had trouble setting the distributor right to get my 355 started. I messed around with it tonight, and actually got it running. Turns out I was 90 degrees out, which explained why I backfired out the intake when I stabbed the dist. one way, and then out the exhaust when I stabbed it the other way. I just wanted to say thank you to all who have helped me, given me advice. I wish I could let you all drive my car, since you guys are the ones who helped me get it running. It says a lot about the people on this board-- willing to help out others just for the sake of doing so. That means a lot to me (sniff, sniff)
. Thanks guys. BTW, it sounds mean!! I do have one question, which is necessary so this thread doesn't get locked. I am running stock fuel pressure on 65# injectors. Is this enough for a car that has a cam w/ .480/.480 lift, 1.6/2.0 heads? I am playing with fire here? Will it run too lean? I have some 454 injectors, should I use these instead? Opinions? thanks again to all who have helped. I wish I could thank each of you personally, and buy ya' a cold Lone Star (State Beer of TX). It's been 8 months since I have heard my car run! I am very happy. This is my first project.

I would think your imjectors are fine......However I would pump up the fuel pressure to make them flow a little more.
