1991 TBI 305 cam?
im 15 and i just started restoreing a 1991 camaro rs with t tops..... i was wondoring, is there a limit to the size cam you can run with a stock computer?..... and if you put a performance chip in would you be able to runa bigger cam

Welcome to TGO. There's a lot of good info here and a lot of good folks that'll help you out. One of the first things you'll want to do is to learn to activate the search tool for the subject or topic that you're interested in. Also check out the tech section. There are numerous 305cam articles and threads, etc.

deffinately limits..if it were me id go off the edelbrock performer cam size they offer for the 305 and wouldnt go much higher than that. im 2 steps over that in a 350 which is a diff. story because the more Cubic inches the more cam you can have and have the same idle.

when i was looking to put in a cam into my 305 tbi, a lot of guys recommended the LT1 cam do to it being incredibly plentiful (all the 4th gen guys dumping them for something bigger) and dirt cheap (only paid $40 for mine). wont screw with the computer too much and hard to beat for the money
