is the fuel pump that came in the 91 305 rs mechanical or electric, thinking of doing lt1 cam but cannot do it with mechanical fp. thanks

 

It is an electric pump in the fuel tank.

 

Definitely electric. You might want to consider changing the stock one to a higher lph (Liters per hour) rated pump. This would give you some tuning room after installing the cam. You'll probably have to do some computer tuning as well.
