TBI uses fuel injectors right? so when I have to replace the Injectors I only buy 2 right? When I replace the injectors on my stock TBI, should I also replace the throttle body to a high preformace model? Are the Fuel Injectors the Same size for TBI and TPI? If not what is the right size?

 

What are your mods. From the sound of it, not many. Let us know what you want to do, odds are you dont need new injectors or a new tbi unit.

The injectors are a completely different design and they both come in all kinds of flow ratings. I think you should start reading this board for a week or two, then decide one what mods you want to start doing.

 

I am soused to working on Carbed Chevy Smal blocks....AHHHH!! this is way to complicated, but I am going to give it a try.....

 

so what is your engine?

 

The engine is an 88 305 TBI out of a trans am with only 50000 miles on it. I plan on putting Headers, A new cam, New heads and some other thigns but I cant think of the right now (spent all last night working on one of my Chevelles, I feel dead. Those zare basically the engine mods. I also planon replacing the ingnition systems and a few other things...

 

what do you plan on doing SOOON...

because yea, im dropping in a LT1 but i need a new fuel pump, but i cantput in a high pressure cause itll kill my engine...

you have to match it, cause even if down the road you have to plan it...
