major bummer
todays events are going to prevent me from being able to get the swap done before saturday for the modern f-body shoot out as i had hoped.
the blood bank staff has been put on call 24/7. let me put it this way, i called out sick at 9am because i felt horrible, at 10:30am my mother called and told me what happened, i called work and they said the line of donors was out the door, i got to work at 11:30am after a shower and a bunch of dayquil, at 2:30am i left work(guess how good i feel right now ), and i have to be back at work by 8am for another similar day.
i think all that adds up to a good enough excuse to not get the swap done on time

just remember, your state of mind and being isnt even close to thousands who have it much worse off. thanks for being not selfish and actually going to work to help so many people get help, when you know you could have called in sick. Its people like you who still have American inside them, unlike some people in the US, who just happen to have been born here, and have no idea of how good they have it.

I know my personal bubble was popped, like yours. unfortunately not everybody has been effected as such.
