Valve cover breathers?

I was wondering if it would be alright to use a valve cover open breather like a K&N? I would put it on the right hand side valve cover..not the opening with the PCV valve. Does anyone know what size i need to fit the opening?

thanks

measure the tube that goes to the stock air cleaner. I think it was 3/4 of an inch. I used the stock rubber in the valve cover with the new push in breater.

I used the same breather as Tas. K&N has a breather that is made specificly for this application. I don't remember the part number, but, it shouldn't be too hard to find. I will second Tas's 3/4" guess.

Could someone get me a part number? I'm really interested in getting one. Did you guys plug the hole in the back of the TBI then when you put the breather on?

nope no PN just measured the deal at the local part house. Generic crome push in breater. $4. The K&N ones were too much money.

The K&N part number is 62-1030.

You sure you don't mean the hole at the back of the air cleaner? That's where the PCV tube connects out of the valve cover. Get an open element and don't worry about it, if that's the case.
