supercharging
ok guys im pretty new to all this, so i got a question that i hope yall can help me with.....I can either keep my TBI setup for my 305, or i can get the TPI setup and rebuild it and put it on my 305. I want to supercharge my engine , is it possible to do that with TBI? Is it worth the trouble to switch to TPI? need help guys

a blower can work with tbi, a few companies make kits for both roots type and centrafugal type blowers.
you can make a lot fo power with tbi , equal to tpi when it come right down to it, so unless it is something you really want there is no real need for tpi.
the time that there would be a difference between the 2 woudl be if you got an aftermarket computer set up to contol the fuel and timing, then the advantages of port injection really show up.
