tom,
i am from the crossfire forum and had a question. i have an oppotunity to buy a small block 400 to go with my 84 vette and was just curious with what modifications you had to do to make it run right in your t/a.
i was in the process of building a 350 with L98 aluminum heads, but i think i may be better off with the 400, what do you think?

Hey whats up!
I can't get on the forum right now, b/c I can't from work, and my computer at home is screwed up.

Anyway, to make the 400 run pretty d@mn good, I HAD to port my intake to the max, install 75 lb/hr injectors (from a 454) and the vacuum referenced fuel presure regulator. I bored the TB's but I don't think that was necessary. The big engine needs more air and fuel. Thant's all.

I would do it agian over a 350. I have NO MONEY in the combo, and I can out run stock LS-1's in the 1/4 all day long.

Thanks for the compliment

Yes the 454 injectors slide right in. They look exactly like the one you have right now. Easy.
