tbi fuel pump wont shut off
this just started earlier today the pump will keep running and running even after removeing the key i figured it would shut off sometimes i would hear it run for about 30 sec after i shut off the car but then i came back out to the garage 4 hours later to find its still running
i can hear the fuel being sent to the return line
i pulled the fuel pump fuse so far its the only thing that has shut it off
and the service manual dosnt say much as for what would be the problem
would it be the relay? or am i just gonna have to pull the fuse out when ever i go some where lol "ultimate anti theft lol"

Bad relay or pressure switch would do it. Short on teh relay solenoid side will also cause it to stay on.
Try disconnecting the relay and see if that turns it off. If not, disconnect the connector for the pressure switch thats located above the oil filter. If it still runs on, then its a fault in teh wiring.

ouch that sucks haha,
YEah i wonder if your relay just got stuck on. They can get corroded and stick. you might check that, its a cheap part. Or you can test around with a test light if you have the time. Most all those relays are the same, just look an yahoo for a diagram and make sure its the same as the pic. on the relay.
Well, even faster yet, just rob a relay from somthing stupid and swap it in the fuel pump spot and see what that does. Let us know.

Re: tbi fuel pump wont shut off
well i have spare relays from a parts car and a spare oil pressure switch i didnt realize that the oil switch could control the fuel pump
i just replace the switch last night as the old one was pegging out
i let you guys know the outcome thanks for the fast advice
apperently the new oil pressure sender isnt letting the pump turn off
