It's usually not a good idea to just tune for idle. Get scan tool hookedup and read the BLMs to get you into the ballpark figure. It's usually a good idea to tune the fuel pressure so you ARE rich at idle. It's better to be rich at idle than to be lean. If you're lean, you put it into gear and it's more likely to stall or a fast stop etc. Hookup a scan tool and shoot for around 124 BLM at part throttle and normal driving. If you go to WOT it'll go to 128 anyways so don't do that. Besides, adjust the pressure for performance, not for a 450mv idle by the o2 sensor. This is something I learned the hard way but it was a good lesson learned.
I can't get the car to run in a lean state...it always rich at idle.......kinda whitish grey smoke....and smells of raw gas.....I have mess with it for a few days now with no success i did the oxy sen test with a meter.....wot is pretty close to being right on..but at idle...specially the longer it sits....it build up raw gas
please help
