Question regaurding tuning
Hey all
I have a 1989 RS camaro with the l03 v8.
I am going to be doing the lt1 cam swap, either 081 heads with performer tbi intake (or vortecs with vortec GMPP intake if i can find a set of heads). Question is, i need to have a tune done obviosly
I know of turbocity, and tbichips.. but I know YOU guys do alot of tuning and have sucess (as I have read).
Do any of you guys (once I get my specs) be willing to burn me a prom from my car to run with no speed limitor, rev limitor (if possible), run with the cam, and obtimize heads/intake.
I have Paypal and would be willing to pay, just burning my own right now isnt an option, just woundering.
PM me with details, thanks for taking your time to read this.

Re: Question regaurding tuning
An admin is going to send you a nasty message.
It'll be along the lines of:
"NO PROM BEGGING/SELLING" It says that at the top of the tuning board, and I'm sure it applys here.
A better question would be: "Hey guys, how can I get started making my own chips?"
And we would respond: "Hey dude, check out the stickys at the top of the DIY PROM board"
After you get done reading ALL of that info, you'll know how to do it yourself, and most likely without a single new thread if you use the search feature.
And before you ask, the "chip in the mail" is like trying to buy a shirt on the internet. Wait 5 days...it doesn't fit. Ship it back($$)...wait 10 days...still doesn't fit etc.

Re: Question regaurding tuning
If you can't or won't learn to burn your own chips do not swap cams and heads, it will run horribly and most likely be slower than stock, mine was. If you don't want to learn and have to swap heads/cam put a carb on it.
