computer location
I just bought a 87 Iroc that doesnt have a motor in it. Was originally a tbi car, I am putting a carbed motor in it. So While the motor is out i would like to get all the wire looms and compter and such out. My question is were is the computer located on these cars for the motor, so that way i can just track down all the wires coming from it and get them outta there?
Also does the computer for the motor just run the motor. or am i gonna have problems with gauges, lights, etc...?
Thanks

The ECM will be located under the dash on the passenger side. Usually installed in a 'straight up' position. Shouldn't have any issues with gauges and such when removing the ECM.
