Engine: 305 5.0 L03 TBI
Transmission: T5 - 5 speed
Axle/Gears: open diff. & stock 3.08 gears
stock cat takin out emmisions pipe hanging....
i have my stock cat taking out because it was completely clogged and wouldn't even let the car run...so i had to hack off the shiny emissions hose coming from the cat... could this set off code 44 lean exhaust? because thats the only code i got, so i upped the fuel pressure a little and i still get that code and sometimes, it also pings when i put the pedal to the medal sometimes.

so am i realy running lean or is it just tripping the computer? should i put more fuel pressure, am i loosing power from this? i just need to kno the side effects please.
