I have a 89 RS with the 305. If I switch to vortec heads will all my brackets (A.C. alternator etc.) bolt up or will I need holes drilled and tapped or even new brackets or do all the bolts just line up?

Sorry if this is common knowledge and I'm asking a dippy question.

 

not a silly question at all. yes they will bolt up however do not ditch the steel 1/4" round metal stand off pieces during the swap. especially around the a/c and p/s as under certain conditions the belt may go bye bye.
