Cheap, easy ways to add HP to my 88 TBI?

Are there any cheap/easy ways to add some HP to my 88' TBI? I am not very technically inclined, and not rich either.

Re: Cheap, easy ways to add HP to my 88 TBI?

If you do a search on this site theres a lot of info about mods for tbi's. I have an 88 tbi too. I turned my stock air cleaner into an open element. I turned the plastic snorkel around so the other end faces the air cleaner. Then i hooked a 3" hose to the other end and ran it over to the drivers side fender. theres an opening over there. I ran it down threw there and under bumper. Mount it so it faces forward but were you cant see it. I used a zip tie so doesnt just hang there. Mines not done yet, i am going to do the other side and i need to trim the air cleaner some more. Cheap, easy ways to add HP to my 88 TBI?-100_2286.jpg
