Please Help
Got a 91 RS, 305, TBI, Just replaced O2 sensor, Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, the nice tune up stuff. Removed the Smog pump, and capped the exhaust. Now it won't start, any help would be awesome. Thanks

1) Are you able to crank engine over?
2) Are you getting spark when engine is cranking? Take one spark plug wire bring it close to a engine ground or use spark plug tester.
3) Take of air cleaner assembly - have some one turn engine over. Do you see injectors firing fuel??
Post your findings and will take it from there..

Re: Please Help
OK, the car has fire, has fuel, and turns over. I changed the TPS, and the fuel pressure reg. still no start. Ran the Codes all I got was 12 for about 6 to 7 times in a row. The sensors in the air chamber that was hook to the smog pump, would that cause it not to start? I'm lost. Help

1) Disconnecting AIR by pass valve does not effect engine start. Just make sure that wiring harness is stowed away.
2) If you are getting both spark and fuel the most likely problem is that your spark plug wires were incorrectly routed (mixed up). This happens very often. Crank engine over with a breaker bar to and align #1 cylinder to TDC - timing mark on balancer should point to 0 deg TDC and #1 piston should be at the top, #1 cylinder valves should be closed. Take dizzy hat off - mark rotor position on dizzy base with a felt tip marker. Once position of #1 cyl, on dizzy, has been verified check the rest of the spark plug wires.
