alright well I didnt know where this topic fits at, but im putting it here,
i've been trying to plan out with the carb scoop, and how high I need it to be, once I put in an air gap eldelbrock intake and a holly carb (sorry if I mispelled anything) would I need to rise up the carb scoop as this pic here is showing below


or would this scoop would still work if I cut a hole in the stock hood so I dont need to get a 3'' cowl hood


reason I ask this is cause I dont want to go with the scoop with the rise up and make it look bad with the stock hood scoop and hopefully the last pic I posted will still work, and still be a lil low.
