intake gasket help!

hey guys whats going on, well i was putting together my engine today. and i got stuck. i had purchased the gm intake manifold gaskets for my car. but here is the thing. i am using a 2101 edelbrock intake. the port holes do not line up. i am wondering if i need to use a pre 87 gasket set or try another 87+ gasket set. please help me out guys thanx

Hey

Edelbrock Performer 2101 intake manifold is for - ‘86 and earlier - 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevy. Select appropriate intake manifold gasket based on your intake port measurements. For most stock applications Fel Pro 1256 will do - port size: 2.09 in. x 1.28 in. - just make sure that you do not have a blocked crossover.

hey rf yeah i know its for pre 86, i got the manifold elongated so it would work. with my manifold. also i think ihave the right gaskets i had them upside down lol. thanx for the info tho. i will need help on figuring out what holes need to be closed or seald up when not using certaiin things.
