Quick 350 TBI head question
Quick 350 TBI head question
Received the cylinder heads (1992 350 TBI) back from the machinist. Go to put the TBI intake back on, and realized the EGR passages in the head are not there.
Now I can't be certain they were there to begin with, but when I pulled the EGR valve off the intake, the base of the EGR valve is covered in soot, so I'm assuming it was flowing exhaust gas. The heads have casting number 14102193 which should be 1987+ 350 heads. I just don't know why they have no EGR crossover/port on them.
Did I get my heads back from the machinist, or somebody else's?

Re: Quick 350 TBI head question
Send a PM to Fast355. He's done more work here with car & truck TBI heads than probably anyone else, so if there is an EGR difference between the car and truck heads, he'll know.
