That's what I figured but was not sure. I do know the cutter that I have is for 1.4 double springs........

You gotta watch all the little things and how they can add up compared with buying complete heads.

Don't rush it Mike, it sounds like you're getting all of your bases covered, it will be a fun car when you're done with this!
Well I am looking at getting the EBL, and eventually the LT1 cam or similar. I posted up on here a while ago, and asked how hard it would be for a beginner to tune for a hotcam. And the experienced members said that with the TBI + the hotcam, it will be a "nightmare" or some other word to that degree. They said the LT1 cam is enough of a project in itself to tune for in some LO3's.

Stock ECM the LT4 hotcam is pretty difficult to tune for. With the EBL and a wideband its ALOT easier. I ran a cam that spec'd 224/224 @ .050" lift in my 305 on the stock truck ECM. It wasn't all that hard to tune. The biggest issue that I had to fight out was a high map code. I eventually found the address in the ecm code where the limit was and upped it to a more reasonable (for the cam) figure.
