Newbie questions

Hey all,i recently got a 92 firebird 305 tbi. Ive put an open element filter with a ram air hood on it and flowmaster 40 series exhaust.

I am very new to working cars, Ive always done my own silly maintance things like water pump, fuel pump, plug changes etc etc but i have never started modding an engine. I know my way around under the hood fairly well and what i don't know, well, theres a chilton manual for a reason

Any way, Ive tried to do my research but there are so many posts it just gets so overwhelming . Where do you guys suggest i go now?

Thanks in advance and sorry for posting things i know have been asked many many times
