Dual TBI?
Dual TBI?
Has anyone done this?
I was thinking you could use a dual carb 350 manifold and make adapter plates. You could use two throttle bodies and two sets of V6 injetors wired together. The only thing is riggin everything to work with the computer.
Thoughts, ideas?

Re: Dual TBI?
don't see why you couldn't just wire two sets of injectors in parallel, unless it would overload the driver in the ECM (though making an external driver with some MOSFETs wouldn't be too hard, certainly cheaper then a new ECM), the rest would be just tuning

Re: Dual TBI?
The drivers for TBI injectors are peak-and-hold. Wiring 2 injectors in parallel on one driver will have the drivers peaking off early. Injector operation will be unreliable and erratic.
Wiring 2 injectors on each driver in series halves the voltage on each injector. This increases the opening time and makes for a lazy slow injector.
The 4 injector mod is available for your stock ECM. This modification includes larger drivers and the proper changes to the peak-and-hold circuitry.
