tbiometry

ok guys straight to the point,

i need help on how to rebuild a tbi unit ,

why well becouse my mechanic took off the orange diaphram and gasket under the regulator and i think he damaged it, since the spring came flyin out.

and wen the tbi was put bak in , once we tried to crank the motor fuel came spewing out of the regulator part were the diaphram and gasket sits. ( and i already checked if any thing was loose) but all the screws are tight.

so i believe its time to replace wats broken,

so is there a walk through that any one can show me or a link?

the gp sorsen rebuild kit came with directions but i wanna know u guys opinion first .

thanks in advance,

ps and this is wats holding me from taking out my dam car lol its been in storage for the past 9 months,

HELP!!! i wanna tear it up on the streets already lolol

Re: tbiometry

well i went and replaced it my self,

pretty simple task and the directions that came with the kit was pretty help ful,

so i went to crank the motor and the leak that was thier before is gone.

but now i have another problem,

wen i try to turn the car on , it will shut off becouse of lack of fuel.

wen i look at the fuel injectors they are not running consistent and are flickering ,

the injectors are new and are 61lb injectors.

and the gasket between the tbi base and the top part of the tbi that holds the injectors is moist as if thier is a leak.

so what should i do now?
