I was replacing the thermal switch for the fan earlier with one of the 200 degree ones and I seen this. Its straight down from the temp switch right above the oil pan and has the same type plug as the temp switch does. I cant figure out what its supposed to be tho. Any ideas? Turns out the whole problem with my fan not coming on was someone mauled the plug and wasn't even plugged in, oh well I got a lower temp one now anyways.
