does anyone know if you can replace your single snorkel on a 92 TBI for a dual snorkel that was stock on an 83-87 HO 305? It looks like it is exactly the same only with two snorkels to bring in twice as much air...anyone know about this? or have tried it?

 

yes and no. if you still have your AIR emission system on there, the black plastic pump on the pass side will come into your way. otherwise direct fit.

i only installed a cowl induction on my formula that works pretty well for me so far

 

yes , yes , & yes . IMO you would be better off shipping your dual to me and i will ship my single to you . i will even pay shipping both ways . ( such a deal !!! ) back to subject , they are desired because of more , better air flow . if you have one use it . if you have the stock duct for pass. side great , but the coolant tank is a slight bit different due to duct mount . ( i happen to have one ) anyway most of us poor people do not want to pay up to $200.00 for one . thats why myself and others are/have made at home variations of it . check tech articles on this forum . ( still think you should trade with me !!! ) good luck .

 

can you make it fit with the air emission pump on it...can it just be shoved out of the way?
