Whys my O2 sensor so erratic???
IS it because its just a 20$ chepo, or what I have an EBL flash and on the WUD it shows 800mv then 4mv and back and forth, when Im in park and hit the gas it jumps up an down alot, in drive it does it occasionaly,
Dad said he tightened the O2 sensor up quite a bit from when we first put the motor in, what causes it
Im coming to the conclusion just a cheepo 02

On a properly operating EFI vehicle in closed loop the voltage should sweep back and forth, the faster the better. That indicates the ecm is modifying the mixture and the exhaust oxygen content is reflecting the change.
