serious question
Ive got an edelbrock tourqer 2 intake meant for carb but ive got the plate to swap the TBI onto it. ive got a 1978 chevy 305 im going to be putting it on. my question is looking at the intake there isnt a coolany channel in the rear of the intake, there is a front and middle channel. the motor has ports for all three.. is it mandatory for me to get an intake that will allow coolant to pass through all three or will i be able to run it with just the two on the intake i have now. thanks alot

Re: serious question
The front channel is required for the thermostat and return water.
The center channel is a heat riser. It is for exhaust gases to heat the plenum.
The rear has no crossover. The heads have it so that there is no difference side to side. The head will work on either side of the engine. The castings are the same.
