Mods and Stock Fuel Pump.

What will my car feel like and run like if it's on stock fuel pump with mods in my sig? Sometimes when I stomp on it it just dosent wanna go. Is this cause of Fuel Pump? I have not fitted IROC fuel pump yet.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge so you can see it from inside while you're driving.

If the pressure drops when you boot it, more so up higher revs - it's time for a bigger pump!

Re: Mods and Stock Fuel Pump.

I think, with the stock injectors you will need over 21psi at WOT to cover the fuel demand of your set up.
AFPR, better fuel pump and tuning is a must at your level. EBL would be The perfect upgrade to make the tuning effective, easy and fun.

To check if the FP stays steady under load, I fit the FPgauge under the window wiper.

With a little tune your engine+mods should run fine even with the stock fuel pump, for gentle driving, but careful as you smash the trottle it will go out of fuel and knock like hell.
