Eco/Power

What could I look forward to for my L03 if I get it rebuilt? I was hoping I might be able to find a engine shop that could rebuild my engine so i could get more power and better gas mileage. I believe it could be done just rather ask the forum.

Re: Eco/Power

you don't rebuild an engine for power, and you don't rebuild a 305 period. Why do you think it needs a rebuild?

You rebuild a 305 motor if you plan on putting money into it, if it's got 180,000 miles on it and you want to put some money into it, then it would be nice to have that peace of mind knowing that once you put a cam and heads in it that it won't throw a rod or spin a bearing when you're having fun with that cam and those heads.

exactly :P haha its the same with 4 bangers and v6 whats teh difference? i was just seeing what I could do to get more of both mileage by the gallon and power, considering everything is cast iron almost and comparing to the new vortec heads and other sweet goodies of improvement i think theres more potential to get on both ends from this engine, considering its a daily drive wouldn't hurt to get more gas mileage and power
