LOSS OF POWER $*#@
For some reason, my 89 RS 305 feels very weak and resistant when accelerating. This problem is more pronounced in the lower rpm range, and is worse when I try to push it. It wants to be driven smoothly or not at all. Any excess weight on the gas pedal causes engine roughness. It almost sounds wispy when when I try to give it more throttle than it's accepting. Any ideas?
Ignition, vacuum, compression, seals, tuning??? .
Help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Mind you, it's not just bogging down, it kicks back and fusses when you try to give too much throttle. Almost like a timing problem possibly...

Re: LOSS OF POWER $*#@
Yes, my ~BUILT 89 305 plus roller rockers, heads, underdrive pulleys, k&n Filter, edlebrock headers, hollowed catco Cat., 3" exhaust to and from flowmaster, hurst dual gate shifter with kit on tranny and a many from the build not worth listing off~ Felt weak and resistant when accelerating. This was because the edlebrock headers take up more space than the stocks and eventually made contact with one of the plug wires on either side (out of site) and burt through. So yeah, on 6 cyls (also f-ing up timing) the ride was rough for a little while. FIXED and HEALTHY, thanks.

Must have taken a while to type that with one hand.

I guess that's how it goes when my other hand is resting on your bobbing head.
This is a good site, with a lot of decent people who dig 3rd gens and can share lots of good, useful info and ideas. Really, the only drag about it is deadbeat posters like you. I see that you have about 2,700 posts... impressive. Just really sad what a waste I'm sure they were. If you like camaros, drive one, and then join a forum site for them just to hate on other camaros then you need something better to do with your time.
If you wanna dis someone, go do it person like a man. Otherwise leave decent sites decent.
