basically, i have a wrecked 93 silverado with good running 5.7 350tbi and auto tranny. i found a 3rd gen camaro with fairly new painjob, cowl hood, weld wheels, and stripped interior setup for drag racing. i can get the car for about $1400. would it be hard to put my truck motor in the camaro? what all is involved. my dad would be helping do the install since he is knowledgable about cars.

btw, i know the tbi motor won't be quick, eventually i will have a performance based small block under the hood.......like in a year or two. this setup would be so i can drive it on the weekends. thanks guys.

Read the Sticky Threads on the top of this forum. The 305 to 350 swap should cover it.

If you take the chance to do some little porting to the heads and stick in a LT1, LT4 or similar cam wile the engine is out, you should easily get 240+rwhp once fueled and tuned. Thats not slow either.
