tbi ecm question?
i have a 91 rs thats i just put a 355 in and i need to know if i would be able to put a 7747' ecm in place of the 7730? would i have to do anything to the vats or could i just leave it be? the reason for this swap is that the person who had the car before me took the ecm out before i got it he had it carbed but i want to put the tbi back on it.

Re: tbi ecm question?
Yes, the '7747 is a plug and play with the '8746 ECM (stock for a '91 RS TBI car). The '7747 doesn't support VATs, so no issue. And as a side note it doesn't have any IAT support.
Note that the '7747 will not directly replace a '7730 ECM. Which is a MPFI ECM in the f-body's (TPI & 3.1L).
