Performance TBI Manifold
Well I have been looking into getting a better intake manifold for my 88 Camaro with a L98 block but 350 tbi set up. And i dont want to go spending money on a 454 tbi or a holley 2' tbi.
I also know theres several threads on the edelbrock tbi manifold which most people find to not be so much bang for their buck. I was looking into buying an edelbrock performer 4bbl intake and buying the tbi adapter plate for it. I was wondering if anyone has done this and has anyone gotten any good gains from it? Please and Thank you =)

Check out the classifieds, Shifty is selling his 2" bore, 3704 performer tbi, you could also do some porting to it.
If the engine only produce up to 350fwhp, that will work.

Thanx man, I'll check into it but i really want some info on the 4bbl intake and the tbi adapter plate set up. Me and my friend both wanna know how well this work since he already has a holley 4bbl intake. But thnx for the rply.
Re: Performance TBI Manifold
I found an mag. article online once by Hot Rod, it was called F Notes or something. It was an 89 RS 305L tbi, they tried the eddy tbi intake & found minimum gains, then they saw a better gain w/ a performer intake w/ a tbi adaptor.

Re: Performance TBI Manifold
that gave him his answer. Hoenstly the difference between the two manifolds is going ot be minimal anyway. I'd buy Shifty's manifold if I were you. Then later you can go to the 454 TBI or Holley tbi.

Re: Performance TBI Manifold
For reference, the stock 3704 has 42mm bores and no crossflow hole, vs the 46mm bores and crossflow of the stock thirdgen TBI intake manifold.
