stalling when stopped.

so my car stalls when stopped. it has a rough idle when in any gear but neutral and park. it loves to stall out when im stopped. it idles rough for about a good 10-20 seconds and then it just dies. i replaced the IAC motor plunger thing and the CTS. im thinkin its either my fuel filter or my TPS, but that still wouldnt explain why it doesnt stall in park/neutral. whats causing it to stall only when theres a load on the motor? maybe my torque converter is locking up when i stop? i need a new VSS, with my VSS bad, would that cause my converter to lockup when it feels like it?

Re: stalling when stopped.

I would think it has something to do with your transmission, I dont know what a cts or vss is so i'll agree to that for now lol. Ive got a 5 speed l03 and never had any kind of issue like that, If it has to do with your load increasing making the car run badly it could very well be bad spark plugs/wires...
Hope this helps!

Re: stalling when stopped.

mine used to do that alot. I just installed a vigilante converter and it makes it worse a little. But oh well. probably something like that. But I have heard of a TPS possibly doing that.

I had the same problem with my other camaro, turned out that the converter was locking up causing the engine to stall when I came to a stop.
