Took my 83 trans am cfi into my friends auto shop and they found out that the fuel pump was going out and it was gonna cost 600 to fix it, Can I run a in line pump out of the tank ? its 130 gallons 14 psi pump or Should I cut a hole in the truck to get to the fuel pump ?

 

$600?? Damn. If nothing is rusted up like here in the north then it shouldn't be that bad to do.

 

You're in Arizona. Get some beer and some jackstands and spend a day doing the job right. It is nowhere near as hard as the lazy idiots on this forum who tell everyone to "cut a hatch" make it out to be.
