Engine: LO3 305 TBI
Transmission: 700-R4
Which one first?? Heads, EBL Flash, Gear ratio
For a 1989 Camaro RS with 305 TBI only upgrades are short headers and flowmaster.
So I was really wanting to get a new cam, after listening to other people saying I should leave cam till last. (I don't if thats good)
Now that I have some money saved up which should I do first?
Port stock 305 Heads?
Order and install EBL flash? OR..
Change my gear ratio to 3.73?

If the heads are off I'd do a cam at the same time. No sense tearing it down twice.
Will also need a better fuel pump once the heads/cam are done. Along with increased fuel pressure or larger injectors to support the additional HP.
Once the heads/cam are done tuning is going to be required. So maybe a good order is:
gears
fuel pump (TPI or a 190 LPH)
EBL Flash
injectors or adjustable FPR
heads & cam
RBob.

i would first buy the ebl flash which was what i did wen i had a 305 (even with stock muffler it sounded louder and ran better after a few tuning runs) i then bought an exhaust so my order was 1.ebl 2.exhaust 3.350 swap but do the ebl swap first its one of those upgrades thats better to do early (wen u got the money) then later wen ur car has new parts but runs like crap because it doesn't have a decent tune

Getting very familiar with your tuning equipment and software is always a good idea before you start changing things around with mods.
