need some help!!!

Just picked up an old 92 RS that was wasting away and it is having trouble starting. Think it is the fuel pump but not sure. I can hear it running. Will link video when I get chance.

Re: need some help!!!

The injectors are squirting, the spark plugs are recently replaced and the distributor hasn't been messed with so the timing should be good.

Re: need some help!!!

might want to check to make sure you have spark. remove the number 1 spark plug and wire and reconnect the pluck in the wire and set it aside and turn the car over and se if there is spark. if there is fuel squirting then its prolly an electrical gremlin, they suck..believe me..

If you have spark at the sparkplugs you might want to check if what's squirting out of the injectors is gas not water. Can't tell you how many people called me for help on a car that was sitting for a while and tell me they got spark and gas but the engine won't start. My first question to them is usually " Are you POSITIVELY SURE you got gas? NOT WATER? Water likes to condense in gas tanks that sit for a while.

I clicked on the link but it said this video is private x( and the first thing I'd do with a car that's been sitting awhile is do an oil change then burn off the old fuel in the tank
