416 heads and intake for tbi

416 heads and intake for tbi

i have a stock 92 rs 305 with the center bolt heads could i replace them with a set of 416 heads and a edelbrock performer intake with the carb to tbi adapter? would everything bolt up? would i need a tune?

It would be a waste of time and money. It wouldn't run well on the stock tune at all and you would lose power and lots of TQ.

It would all bolt up and it would def need to be tuned. You would need different valve covers. Try the 081 heads. Almost the same and u could reuse the valve covers you already have.
